Make bubbles several meters long!! It's a super fun activity for all kids, and worked especially well as a fun activity during the height of the pandemic! Here's where I got the recipe for the bubbles as well as how to make the string bubble wands.
We didn't have luck with the wire hanger bubble wands working, but here are some tips for using the string bubble wands:
Keep both sides of the string wands close enough to touch each other while pulling it out of the bubble solution.
Pull apart the 2 sides of the strings while moving backwards (or moving in a circle) to make the bubbles: but note that pulling the strings too far apart will make too large an opening, which will make the bubble pop before you're able to finish making it!
To make a bubble, make the strings touch again using the wooden wands.
Once the bubble solution gets too bubbly, it becomes more difficult to make bubbles, so we stop at that point to let the bubble mix settle, and are able to make bubbles again the next day.
